About Phumelele
I am an organized and proactive university graduate who has a passion for helping others . I have a proven knowledge of efficiency improvement, organization and team building. Along with my physical experience in community work such as working in old age homes, children's orphanages and school fun fairs comes my passion for children. Frequently known as adaptable, I can be relied upon to help and add value to your company to achieve its goals ad intentions to the best of my ability.
As a university graduate, my academic career consists of and acquired 1.5 years of work experience. I had the privilege of working for Urban-Econ Development Economists in a Development Economist role where I learned valuable professional skills, such as Microsoft Office skills, interpersonal and communication skills during field and telephonic surveys, Quantec, AutoCAD, administrative and municipal duties, obtaining and manipulating data for business plans, feasibility studies and socio-economic impact assessments and more. In both my
academic and professional life, I have been considered as an adaptable individual. In addition, I have 4 months experience as an Administration Officer in Asset Management at the Department of Public Works Cape Town. Here, I obtained experience related to cleaning asset registers, editing and confirming deeds of transfer and land ownership, organizing meetings, compiling municipal land applications consisting of title deeds, aktexs and Surveyor General diagrams, obtaining and capturing title deeds and going on site visits to calculate building areas.
Whether working on academic, extracurricular or professional projects, I apply organizational, communication and planning skills which I hope to leverage into the role of an English teacher.
