About Everett
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, having worked with over 300 students. I teach high school and college learners using a student-centered approach, creating lessons that are interactive, personalized, and effective.
My teaching emphasizes technical skills, creativity, and self-expression, helping students not only master the Guitar but also build confidence and stage presence. One of my proudest achievements has been mentoring students to perform successfully at college events and competitions, witnessing their progress and joy is deeply fulfilling.
I aim to create a motivating and supportive environment where students can explore music, achieve their goals, and cultivate a lifelong passion for Guitar.

My teaching methodology for guitar focuses on clarity, discipline, and creative growth. I use communication to explain chords, scales, strumming techniques, and finger placement in a simple and understandable way. This helps students learn correctly and confidently.
I emphasize accountability by guiding students to set goals and follow regular practice routines. I track progress and provide feedback to support steady improvement. Integrity is a key part of my teaching style. I ensure students learn proper posture, correct techniques, and strong musical fundamentals for long-term success.
Lessons are adapted to the student’s level, pace, and musical interests. I include exercises, song practice, and rhythm training to make learning enjoyable and effective. I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and songwriting to provide a complete musical foundation.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, and structured. I help students develop confidence and a lifelong love for guitar and music.
