About Albert
I have enjoyed teaching students for more than 20 years in capacities varying from classroom teacher to private tutor. I have also worked as a Graduation Coach and am currently working as an Academic Support Coach for the Shaquille O'Neal Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta. I enjoy working with student athletes as well. My background includes coaching football, wrestling and track.

My lessons are designed to isolate a math topic and begin to access the student's prior knowledge of its most basic concepts. Then I assist the student with guided practice to build confidence and fluency in the application of the mathematic process. After building confidence and reinforcing guided steps for problem solving; I allow the students to do some independent work with immediate feedback and limited support. This approach takes the fear out of process and builds confidence where it was once lacking.
