About Floresita
I'm Floresita, a TESOL/TEFL-certified English teacher with years of experience teaching students from the Philippines and China, all online. I run my own tutoring practice, GlobalVoice, offering personalized lessons in IELTS prep, business English, and everyday conversation. I've also taught on platforms like 51Talk, Palfish, and Acadsoc, and currently teach Filipino at San Agustin Institute of Technology.
I speak English, Tagalog, and Bisaya, and I'm comfortable working with Chinese-speaking students. I build custom lesson materials for every student and adapt my teaching style to fit their goals and personality — whether they're shy beginners, busy professionals, or young learners. I love helping students grow more confident, one lesson at a time.

My teaching approach is personalized, practical, and student-centered. I believe every learner has different goals, so I design lessons around what you actually need — whether that's passing IELTS, speaking confidently in business meetings, or building everyday conversational fluency.
A typical lesson starts with a quick warm-up to review previous vocabulary, followed by focused practice on the target skill (speaking, listening, grammar, or exam strategy), and ends with real-life role-play so you can apply what you've learned immediately. I use visuals, bilingual materials, and real-world scenarios to make lessons engaging and easy to understand.
What sets me apart is my experience working with both Chinese and Filipino learners, my TESOL/TEFL certification, and my patient, encouraging teaching style — especially helpful for introverted or nervous speakers. I also create customized materials for each student, from PowerPoint decks to feedback reports, so progress is always visible.
My lessons are ideal for adult learners preparing for IELTS, professionals wanting to improve business English (like accountants, salespeople, and office workers), beginners building foundational skills, and children just starting their English journey.
