About Mace

My name is Mace Maya, and I am a certified personal trainer, professional breakdancer, performer, and movement specialist with over 15 years of experience in athletic training and physical performance.

For most of my life, movement has been at the centre of everything I do. As a professional breakdancer, I have travelled the world competing, performing, and teaching in countries across Europe, Asia, and North America. My career has taken me to major events and international stages, where I have developed a deep understanding of strength, mobility, coordination, endurance, and body control.

What sets me apart as a trainer is my unique athletic background. Breakdancing requires a rare combination of power, flexibility, balance, agility, and mental discipline. Over the years, I have spent thousands of hours refining these skills and learning how to train the body efficiently while reducing the risk of injury. I bring that same knowledge and attention to detail into every session.

I work with clients from all backgrounds, whether they are completely new to fitness, returning after time away from training, or already active and looking to improve their performance. My goal is to help people move better, feel stronger, and gain confidence in what their bodies can achieve.

Beyond qualifications and experience, I am passionate about helping others discover what they are capable of. I believe fitness should be challenging, rewarding, and enjoyable, and I strive to create a positive environment where clients feel motivated to push themselves and celebrate their progress.

Whether your goal is building strength, improving mobility, losing weight, increasing athleticism, or simply becoming healthier, I bring the same dedication and work ethic that has allowed me to perform and compete at a professional level for more than a decade.

My approach to personal training is focused on helping clients build sustainable strength, fitness, mobility, and confidence through structured, goal-oriented coaching. Every programme is tailored to the individual’s needs, whether they are looking to lose weight, improve athletic performance, increase strength, enhance mobility, or develop healthier habits.

As a professional athlete and breakdancer with over 15 years of experience training and competing internationally, I bring a unique understanding of movement, body control, conditioning, and performance. My coaching combines strength training, functional fitness, mobility work, and conditioning to help clients achieve results safely and effectively.

A typical session lasts 60 minutes and includes a warm-up, skill or technique work, a structured workout, and a cool-down or mobility component. I emphasise proper form, progressive overload, and consistency to ensure long-term success while minimising the risk of injury.

My lessons are suitable for all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes. I work with adults of all ages and can adapt training programmes to suit individual goals, abilities, and experience levels. Whether your objective is fat loss, muscle gain, improved mobility, athletic development, or general fitness, I provide personalised guidance, accountability, and support throughout your fitness journey.

My goal is not only to help clients achieve results but also to give them the knowledge and confidence to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle long term.
