About Matisse
I’m Matisse, a certified French teacher from Alliance Française with 500+ lessons taught.
I’ve helped adults and professionals from all over the world break through the “I understand but I can’t speak” barrier and start using French in real-life situations.
I’m passionate about languages, travel, and real-life communication. My goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable and confident speaking French from the very first lesson.
Lessons are conducted in French, English or Spanish, so you never feel stuck or embarrassed asking questions.

I picked Matisse because I wanted someone who would actually talk about topics I care about instead of just textbook stuff. He listens a lot, corrects pronunciation gently, and never rushes you. After a few lessons I started feeling less stuck when I speak. It’s nice to have someone who makes the lessons feel like a real chat.
Before starting with Matisse, I was afraid of speaking French. Now I genuinely enjoy conversations and feel much more natural expressing myself as he encourages you to speak as much as possible and builds your confidence step by step.
