I worked with Ava at Varsity Tutors and she was an outstanding tutor the entire duration of our time together. She was well- prepared for every lesson, knowledgeable about the subject material, and deeply invested in all her students. I remember her preparing tirelessly one week for a student with dyslexia so that she could accommodate her special needs and help her to her best abilities. Ava goes above and beyond as a tutor and I would give her a five star recommendation!!

We’ve taught English together in Costa Rica, and she’s a great teacher and friend! She’s kind, patient, and always willing to help out. For instance, I needed help lesson planning for a fluency class, and she recommended showing them funny Shrek videos that would naturally generate conversation among the students. She was right! For these reasons—and more—Ava’s a Super tutor!
