About KATHRYN
I am a qualified teacher in Biology and Chemistry with a first-class honors degree in Biochemistry. I am passionate about science and education and find it so rewarding to see my students light up when they finally understand something that has been challenging for them. I currently work in healthcare. I have also done research in the pharmaceutical and financial industries.

I am a warm and friendly person who enjoys empowering students to take charge of their own learning. Along with learning the subject content, I help them develop study skills and test taking strategies.
Each session will be focused on a topic most needed by the student. I break the subject down into manageable parts so that they gain understanding and fluency. Applying the information by doing practice exam questions sets them up for success on future assessments.
I use a variety of resources and materials to best suit the learning style of the student.
