About Bruno

My teaching method is focused on conversation. For beginners, classes are in Portuguese / English. I am very patient and happy to explain again as many times as necessary. When the student already has some knowledge, the class is 100% in English. I always bring topics for discussion that are of interest to the student. I constantly review the vocabulary acquired in previous classes, so that it becomes active for use. I teach general English, business, travel, TOEFL, IELTS and CPE preparation, for specific purposes, for example, job interview preparation, aviation English, finance and others.

About the lesson

Since I was very young, I always knew that I would like to be a teacher. At 17, I started teaching English professionally and I was sure that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! So, naturally, I chose to graduate in Literature in order to improve my practice. I have a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate from the University of Arizona that allowed me to reflect more on how the Brazilian student, who speaks Portuguese, learns English.
