About Deb
University of Cincinnati CCM granted me a BM in Voice alongside my status as a Certified Vocology Practitioner. These credentials define my technical foundation. 11 years of active teaching have shaped how I guide students from hobbyists to gigging pros.
Singing is simply fun when your instrument feels reliable and free. My classical roots transitioned into a modern career centered on vocal freedom. I truly enjoy the spark that happens when a singer connects with their natural mix. Vocal technique should feel like a discovery process.

Straining for those high notes often stems from an inefficient approach to resonance and breath. Mixed voice is the vital key to pop and musical theater singing.
My methods borrow heavily from the Seth Riggs lineage of Speech Level Singing to ensure safety. You can expect focused work on diction, phrasing, and building your confidence on stage.
Belting becomes accessible once you find the right balance through specific warm up exercises. Health and longevity remain the priority during every single minute of our time together.
Range extension happens organically as we refine your specific muscular coordination. A 7.0 score on our initial assessment helps me chart your exact progress. Your voice deserves the best technical support available.
