About Joshua
Lifelong artist/seeker who teaches how to access the amazing connective, and healing powers of art-making as a way of tapping into source. Through a variety of different art-making meditations we will explore the connections between conscious and unconscious, the body and spirit, and how we can hone our innate connection to the same act of creative expression that pervades the universe. As a student of Interfaith Chaplaincy, I honor and acknowledge all religious, and spiritual paths, or non belief systems. This class is intended for all, with its benefits potentially accessible to any person regardless of age, gender, or beliefs.

I prefer a more Kinesthetic and expeditionary learning experience. One where the student is involved in the process in a very dynamic way. Movement, touch, and sensation are explored. Through the mediums of pencils, charcoal, chalk, and ink, intuition and connection with source/the divine/god(s)/etc. will be explored.
-A typical lesson starts with a brief meditation session, followed by a quick intro/demo of materials, techniques, history, etc., then a 15 min warm up and time to set intention. Next, 45 minutes of guided art meditation followed by closing thoughts, comments, observations.
Lastly, an optional (fun) homework assignment will be provided if interested.
-This is a class designed for those curious about art-making and its connection to something greater.
