About Jenny

For over 12 years, I have been helping students discover and develop their unique voices. I teach Singing to School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering customised lessons that support individual learning styles and goals.

My teaching approach combines technical training, creativity, and personal growth. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my methods to meet their specific needs. This personalised approach helps students build confidence and achieve steady progress.

My classes cover vocal warm-ups, breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm development, tone quality, articulation, and stage confidence. I use practical exercises, song interpretation, and performance opportunities to help students strengthen their skills. Constructive feedback ensures continuous improvement.

In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, and Performance Skills. These related subjects help students become more knowledgeable musicians and versatile performers. I also provide guidance on vocal health and effective practice habits.

I am passionate about helping students express themselves through music. My mission is to create an encouraging environment where learners feel motivated to grow, perform, and enjoy every aspect of their musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Singing is centred on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that every student has the ability to improve their voice when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. My goal is to help students build confidence while developing strong vocal techniques and musical understanding.

I begin by assessing each student's abilities, interests, and goals. This allows me to create personalised lesson plans that match their learning style and pace. Whether students are learning for personal enjoyment, school activities, auditions, competitions, or professional aspirations, I tailor my lessons to support their success.

Creativity is an important part of my teaching approach. I use engaging vocal exercises, song interpretation activities, listening tasks, and performance opportunities to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Students are encouraged to explore different musical styles and discover their unique vocal strengths.

My lessons focus on breath support, pitch accuracy, rhythm, vocal tone, diction, expression, and stage presence. Through practical application and regular feedback, students gain the confidence to perform and express themselves through music.

Understanding and patience create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I believe that confidence grows through consistent encouragement and support.

Time management ensures that every lesson is productive and balanced. Sessions include warm-ups, technical exercises, song practice, and progress reviews.

In addition to Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Health, and Performance Skills. My aim is to help students become confident, expressive, and skilled singers.
