About Jay
I’m a chartered accountant with first-hand experience of the challenges that come with balancing full-time work and exams — having passed all my papers first time, whilst working, I know how crucial effective revision strategies can be. Over time, I developed methods that helped me stay focused, organised, and exam-ready, and I now want to pass those techniques on to others navigating their own accountancy journey. Working in the professional education sector has shown me that everyone learns differently, and I tailor my approach to suit your individual style and needs. My goal is to help you approach your exams with the mindset, structure, and strategies needed not just to pass — but to feel confident and in control of your journey to qualification.

Each tutoring session will be a 40-minute online call via Microsoft Teams, focused on helping you build a clear, structured revision plan and develop effective study techniques that suit your learning style. The sessions are practical and tailored to your exam goals, aiming to boost your confidence and exam readiness. After each call, I’ll send you a summary by email, highlighting key points, advice, and any resources discussed. You can also contact me between sessions via email with any technical questions — I’ll be happy to provide guidance to keep you on track.
