About PREM
Hello, future accountants and learners! I am a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I have come to realize that accounting, though often perceived as challenging, can be made much more approachable and engaging with the right guidance.
My passion for teaching comes from a deep desire to share my knowledge and make a positive impact on students' learning journeys. I believe that understanding the principles of accountancy is not just about passing exams; it's about building a skill set that is valuable in everyday life and in the business world. I find joy in simplifying complex concepts and seeing that moment when things 'click' for my students.
I want to share my knowledge because I’ve seen firsthand how a strong foundation in accountancy can open doors to numerous opportunities. I’m here to help you not only understand accountancy better but also to build the confidence to tackle any challenge this subject may present. 1. Teaching Techniques and Methods:
My teaching philosophy revolves around making complex concepts simple and understandable.
2. Structure of a Class:
A typical class with me is structured as follows:
Introduction (5-10 minutes): Briefly recap the previous class and outline the agenda for the current session.
Concept Explanation (20-30 minutes): Focused teaching on a particular concept using examples.
Problem-Solving (20-25 minutes): Solve practical problems together, encouraging students to participate and ask questions.
Doubt Clearing (10-15 minutes): Address any queries or doubts students may have, ensuring they feel confident about the topic.
Assignment/Homework Discussion (5-10 minutes): Provide assignments for practice and discuss key takeaways from the class.
