About Kay

Right now, I am more into technology as a whole but mostly Data Science. Hence, I’m data and tech inclined.

Although, I’ll love to pass on the nitty-gritty things I’ve learnt so far especially in Mathematics. I believe experience should be passed on hence increasing knowledge.

My knack for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry began in my secondary school days. With my teachers and family putting effort in my learning, I understood the nitty-gritty aspects of these subjects and how to manoeuvre any challenge faced with. It became an interesting subject for me as I grasped everything I was taught and was able to impact others (classmates). They were my highest scoring subjects during my JAMB exams (Chemistry - 82, Mathematics - 75, Physics - 71) and highest grades also in my WASSCE. I started tutoring people at a tutorial I attended prior to my undergraduate studies and received a lot of successful outcome. I normally have a simple approach to teaching Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry which I believe is very resourceful and promising.

Result-wise, having distinctions in my WASSCE meant my friends likewise other students I taught also having a distinction. I was able to teach them ahead of time. Also at the tutorial I attended, I was one of the best students in the practice mock for JAMB with a score of (333) as of 2014, and I took some mini-tutorial also helping a lot of people understand Mathematics and Chemistry mostly. We all gained admissions into different respective schools.

Basically, teaching students means understanding their perspective too. So I serve as a body of enthusiasm between them and their learning capability. Once I teach, I give out quizzes and assignments which should enhance the student’s learning and be a good practice on the long run because that’s where the learning starts from. I carefully impart the knowledge I have gained so far on any student and make him/her understand that it is not hard as he/she may think.
