About Michael
Hi guys! My name is Michael Wu, I am a third-year chemical engineering student at U of T. I am excited to help teach math, chemistry, and physics, by breaking down these challenging concepts in a simple and concise manner. I have teaching experience as a swimming instructor and an English teacher overseas, and through these experiences, I've developed a calm, patient, and composed teaching approach to help you solve your worst of challenges.

I help high school students in math, chemistry, and physics build confidence and achieve strong results by focusing on both understanding and performance. My lessons are designed to make difficult concepts approachable by breaking them down into clear steps ensuring the material sticks. Each session typically begins with a quick review to refresh prior knowledge, moves into guided explanations and practice, and then gives students the chance to work independently with feedback and support, finishing with a short recap to lock in key points. My lessons are best suited for students in grades 9–12 who want to strengthen their foundations, improve their test performance, and feel more confident tackling challenging material.
