About Aleesha
I’m currently a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Manchester.
Having completed my GCSEs in 2022 and A-Levels in 2024, I have recent experience with the exam system and understand the pressures students face. I have experience tutoring students from Year 9 to Year 13, and genuinely love helping students build their confidence and understanding.
I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to each student, whether you’re looking to improve your foundations, prepare for exams or achieve top grades. I offer both online and in-person tutoring.

I offer Maths and Chemistry lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, taking the time to understand how each student learns and adapting my approach accordingly. I recognise that STEM subjects do not always click in the same way for everyone, and I try to adjust both the pace and explanation to suit the individual.
My initial focus is on building a strong understanding of the subject, as I see this as the foundation for success in STEM. Exam questions often come in unfamiliar forms, so being comfortable with the underlying concepts makes it much easier to adapt and apply knowledge in different situations. Once that understanding is in place, we can move on to exam technique and how to approach different styles of questions effectively.
Overall, I aim to make sure students understand the subject in a way that translates into confidence and performance in exams.
