I'm a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, presently in my final year of an integrated masters degree. I have ample tutoring experience as well as experience working with teenagers and young adults. I'm an excellent Maths tutor who understands the struggles students' face with Maths; There's been a time I failed Mathematics severally, but with some effort, time and patience, I'm now an excellent math tutor and student with top grades!
The lessons would focus on the students' weak areas in the subject. I will try several teaching techniques at first in order to establish the best teaching method for the student, and hence yield the best results.
I have ample past tutoring experience as well as experience working with kids, teenagers and young adults. These include tutoring year 6 students on STEM subjects over a 5 week period, where they learnt about STEM subjects and their subsequent careers; tutoring Maths at summer schools, hence preparing the students in advance of the next academic year; organising and giving Maths tutorials to A level students during my college year, therefore improving their understanding of the Maths topics covered, as well as mine, and also preparing them for the final exam; and giving Maths tutorials to GCSE students, hence preparing them for the final exam.
I love Mathematics; with my excellent communication skills, coupled with my enthusiasm for the subject, some patience and perhaps just a bit more effort, I could help you love Mathematics too and smash those grades!!
