About Maria
Biology and chemistry were not always my favourite subjects. It was during my GCSE years, I started to fully grasp and understand key concepts in these subjects. Slowly but surely, they became my favourite subjects because everything is built on top of a solid foundation in biology and chemistry.
As your tutor, I want to help you build your foundation from scratch or reinforce what you've already got. Once this is set up, it's a matter of learning the art of exam technique. As someone who's been through the hell of GCSE and A level biology and chemistry mark schemes, I will give you all the tips and tricks I learnt the hard way.
More than anything, I want to be the guide that I wish I had in GCSE's and pass on what I learnt. I wish you the absolute best no matter what :)

Having achieved grade 9's in all sciences and maths and recently having finished A level biology and chemistry, I know all too well the struggles of GCSE biology and chemistry.
My 1-2 hr lessons will be planned around your worst topics, split between explanation and exam practice. We will adapt this according to your needs for that specific topic.
I will give you all the tips and tricks I have learnt along the way to help you achieve your dream grade; from specific help with topics to understanding mark schemes. Trust me, I was in your exact position only 2 years ago.
