My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and focused on genuine understanding rather than simply memorizing information. As a medical student with experience tutoring Chemistry to first-year medical students, I understand how challenging scientific subjects can be, and I enjoy breaking complex topics into clear, manageable steps.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student’s goals and reviewing any areas they find difficult. I then explain the key concepts using simple explanations, examples, diagrams, and practical applications. We work through questions together before allowing the student to apply the concepts independently. I finish by reviewing the main points and identifying areas to focus on next.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt my explanations to each student. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while gradually becoming more confident and independent learners.
My lessons are suitable for secondary-school students, students preparing for exams, and university students studying Chemistry, Biology, or related subjects. I can also support first-year medical students with foundational Chemistry and Biology.
