About Joseph

I am a university-level Mathematics tutor with a strong academic foundation in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Materials Science. Drawing on my multidisciplinary background, I bring a unique analytical perspective to mathematics and science helping students see the real-world connections between numbers, physical systems, and the material world around them. I have a natural ability to break down complex mathematical concepts into clear, approachable steps, making me especially effective with high school, university and college students navigating challenging coursework. My specialty is in chemistry particularly organic chemistry as I am committed to building students’ confidence and helping them reach their fullest potential.

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching because I do not only transfer skills and knowledge I have learned to another person but also strengthen my abilities.

In addition to serving as a student instructor, my friends find it helpful whenever we go over class notes and need more explanations to help them understand. I am versatile in Calculus and Algebra, have studied these subjects for over 15 years and I love playing with numbers so that others will comprehend.

When my friends ask me why are you so good with Organic Chemistry? the first answer that rushes to my mind is that "I fell in love with Organic Chemistry." Jokes aside, I was both a preceptor and an organic chemistry lab assistant. I also received the best O.chem award in my sophomore year for excellent performance. I have been assisting friends with O.chem, and they have found my lessons helpful.

I really like seeing someone progress and improve on their scores and performance. This reason pressures me to do my best and make sure a student does not only understand what I am tutoring but also feel very comfortable during that process. I might not have vast qualifications but it is worth giving me a try. Feel free to contact me.
