About Molly
I am a current Texas public high school chemistry teacher and currently hold a 7-12 grade certification in science, as well as a certification in 8-12 grade human development and family studies. I have also taught integrated physics and chemistry (IPC) and currently teach one section of forensic science. I started my education as an elementary education major, but quickly transitioned to a focus on higher grade levels with the specialty of science. I have my Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations on natural sciences and teaching techniques. In addition to teaching science, I also sponsor the Texas Association of Future Educators and I am passionate about the future of the public education system in the United States.

My goal is to reach students who feel like giving up, who possibly feel as though they are too far behind, or simply aren’t getting the help they need at school during the day. I want to be able to help students regain their confidence in chemistry so they can have a growth mindset once again. My belief that all students are capable of being successful fuels my daily interactions with students, and I hope that I can aide your student in success as well! My lessons would be based upon competencies that a student might already be learning in chemistry, but either would like help on or would like to get ahead. I am here to support them in being successful in their daily life as a high school student.
