About Celeste
My passion for chemistry began with an early fascination with how substances interact and transform, shaping the natural and technological world. I pursued a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, equipping me with both theoretical expertise and laboratory experience. Over 10 years, I have worked with students across different levels, helping them strengthen their conceptual knowledge, analytical reasoning, and practical laboratory skills.
I emphasize a student-focused teaching methodology, combining interactive explanations, hands-on problem-solving, experiments, and guided exercises. I encourage learners to ask questions, explore mechanisms, analyze outcomes, and connect concepts to everyday phenomena. My approach nurtures deep understanding, confidence, and curiosity.
Outside of the classroom, I engage in research projects, laboratory experiments, and applied chemistry initiatives that inform my teaching and provide real-world examples. Observing students grow in confidence, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners to become competent, independent, and inquisitive chemists is the foundation of my educational mission.

Chemistry lessons become compelling when students can connect molecular processes to real-world applications. My approach covers chemical reactions, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, organic and inorganic chemistry, and analytical techniques. I use interactive demonstrations, hands-on experiments, problem-solving exercises, and real-life examples to make complex topics accessible and engaging. Students are encouraged to hypothesize, experiment, and analyze results, which nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a thorough understanding of chemical principles.
Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on foundational concepts such as basic reactions, mole calculations, and chemical properties. Intermediate learners tackle kinetics, equilibrium, functional groups, and laboratory methods, gaining deeper conceptual insight and practical skills. Advanced learners explore reaction mechanisms, complex analysis, and research-oriented problem-solving, with iterative guidance to reinforce understanding and accuracy. Each session blends explanation, application, and critical evaluation.
Chemistry education fosters analytical thinking, precision, and problem-solving skills applicable in both academic and practical contexts. Students develop confidence in calculations, experimentation, and conceptual reasoning. My goal is to guide learners to not only achieve academic success but also cultivate a meaningful appreciation of chemistry’s role in technology, health, and the natural world.
