About Marisa

I have obtained a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Chemistry. I have four years' experience tutoring small groups of students at the university where I studied, both in person and online. I am a patient tutor who can tailor my teaching style to what the student needs most. The lessons can be in English or Afrikaans.

About the lesson

My lessons start at what the student already knows and build on that. The emphasis is on helping them contextualize and understand the work better. Students are encouraged and guided to make sense of the work from their own starting point.
