About Reid

I hold a PhD in Chemical Sciences and have spent 10 years teaching Chemistry to students with different educational goals. My interest in the subject began through a fascination with how substances interact and transform at the molecular level. Teaching allows me to share that excitement while helping learners achieve meaningful progress.

My teaching approach combines clarity, patience, and practical application. I enjoy simplifying complex topics into manageable ideas that students can understand and remember. Every learner receives support tailored to their strengths, challenges, and learning style.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading scientific journals, following developments in chemical research, and exploring innovations in materials science. These interests help me bring current perspectives into lessons. Helping students gain confidence and appreciation for Chemistry remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

About the lesson

My Chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand the ideas behind chemical reactions rather than simply memorizing formulas. We explore atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, reaction kinetics, organic chemistry, and laboratory concepts through clear explanations and guided practice. I believe students learn best when they understand how different concepts connect with one another. Every lesson is designed to build confidence through understanding.

I use real-world applications, visual diagrams, structured problem-solving exercises, reaction analysis, and practical examples to make learning engaging and effective. Students preparing for examinations or seeking stronger scientific foundations receive personalized support that matches their learning needs. Lessons are organized step by step so learners can develop accuracy and confidence at a comfortable pace.

As students progress, they become more skilled at solving problems and explaining chemical processes. My goal is to make Chemistry approachable while helping learners develop strong analytical abilities. Every lesson encourages curiosity, logical thinking, and long-term academic success.
