About Yuxuan
Incoming Imperial College London class of 2029, MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Very exam-oriented teaching and I aim to impart my experiences from school to students so that they avoid mistakes I made, but embrace what worked for myself in school. Good for students who wish to see a big jump in grades. Will impart key exam techniques as well as set strong foundations for the subject taught. I also do a lot of programming in my free time, and participate in hackathons. Graduated from Hwa Chong Institution. Straight As SMTP-GATE (Science and Math Talent Programme)

Straightforward, exam-oriented teaching. Exam techniques I gathered from 6 years in Hwa Chong will be taught. Typical lesson 1h long, flexible to suit the student. Since I graduated only 2 years ago, very much in touch with the curriculum and exam techniques. For GP, I am an avid reader on current affairs, and stay afloat on current political situations around the world. This allows my GP essays to have more depth, and stand out to examiners amongst my peers. I am happy to impart what I have learned throughout my schooling years to help you achieve that A like I did, even by writing questions only a select few would try and attempt. Taught my own tuition class in 2021. Sec 3 Physics and Chemistry with around 15 students. Will teach high school physics and chemistry and JC physics.

As his former student in his former class that he did for incoming secondary 3 students the coming year, I found his lessons really useful and leapfrogged me over my peers as he taught all the basic concepts and challenged me with difficult questions(even to JC level questions). This allowed me to breeze through my physics and chemistry curriculum in secondary 3, given that I'm not just familiar with the concepts, but to an extent mastered some as well. Great tutor!
As his former classmate, he is a very knowledgeable person and is very good with explaining physics and chemistry concepts to me. I was able to catchup with the curriculum better by asking him instead of just catching up using remedial lessons in school
