In my chemistry lessons, I strive to create a dynamic and enriching experience that equips higher-level and university students with a deep understanding of Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry. These disciplines are foundational to various fields, from medicine to environmental science, and my approach is tailored to foster both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for success.
We begin with Biochemistry, delving into the molecular mechanisms that underpin biological processes. Topics include protein structure and function, enzyme kinetics, metabolic pathways, and molecular genetics. Through interactive discussions, visual aids, and laboratory experiments where feasible, students gain insights into how biochemical principles govern life at the cellular and molecular levels.
Moving to Organic Chemistry, the focus shifts to the structure, properties, and reactions of organic compounds. Students explore topics such as bonding theory, stereochemistry, functional group chemistry, and synthetic methods. Practical applications in pharmaceuticals, polymers, and materials science are highlighted to underscore the relevance of organic chemistry in everyday life and industry.
Throughout the lessons, I emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
