About Paul
My name is Paul Noble and I am a Chemistry and Physics teacher. I have 33 years experience in the classroom and about 5 years as an online tutor. I greatly enjoy online tutoring and believe my tutees enjoy the lessons also. I am patient and encouraging and believe I can work with anyone to better their subject knowledge.

During the first lesson, I generally like to get to know my students and ask questions which enable me to ascertain where they currently are in terms of their understanding of Chemistry or Science. I then tailor future lessons for them and build up both their subject knowledge and confidence using very simplistic models which are analogous to the more complex topics we study. My lessons are very relaxed and give my students the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in lessons. Teaching is done using a whiteboard and application is then achieved using many past paper questions - of which I have many. I have taught many students who now attend prestigious universities around the world, including Stanford, MIT, Cambridge and Imperial College to name but a few. I have been doing online tutoring for about 5 years, way before COVID. I was head of Chemistry for over 20 years in a very nice school and my knowledge of curricular and exam expectations is extensive. The vast majority of my students spoke English as a second language, so I am used to simplifying concepts so they are more easily understood. I am sure I can help you reach your true potential.
