About Hettie
I started teaching chemistry after realizing that students struggle most when they cannot visualize the abstract nature of chemical bonding. Watching a student finally balance a complex equation during a lab session remains the most rewarding part of my career.
My BS Biochemistry background allows me to connect physical chemistry to real world applications for my 384 previous students. I prioritize conceptual learning over simple memorization to ensure long term retention. Whether you need homework help or a deep dive into acids and bases, I offer the structure you require.
