About Devika
My fascination with chemistry began during my school years when I first learned how chemical reactions explain everyday processes such as combustion and digestion. This curiosity encouraged me to study chemistry further, eventually completing a Master’s degree in the subject. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a strong interest in explaining scientific ideas clearly.
For the past 9 years, I have taught chemistry to students from different academic levels. Many learners feel uncertain when they first encounter complex chemical equations or unfamiliar terminology. My teaching style focuses on simplifying these ideas through clear explanation and structured practice. By connecting theoretical concepts with practical examples, I help students gradually build confidence in the subject.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about environmental chemistry, materials science, and modern research developments. Staying updated with scientific discoveries allows me to bring new examples into my lessons. Teaching chemistry allows me to share my enthusiasm for science while helping students develop analytical thinking and academic confidence.

Chemistry becomes clearer when students learn how substances interact and change during reactions. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners understand the basic principles that explain chemical behavior. We begin by exploring atoms, elements, and molecules so students understand the structure of matter. Once these concepts are clear, learners can better understand how chemical reactions occur and why different substances behave in specific ways.
During lessons, students study important topics such as chemical bonding, periodic table trends, reaction equations, and acids and bases. I explain these ideas step by step so learners understand the reasoning behind each concept. Diagrams and structured exercises help students visualize how chemical processes occur at the atomic level. Practice problems allow learners to apply their knowledge while strengthening analytical thinking.
As students continue studying chemistry, they begin to see how chemical principles influence many areas of life including environmental science, medicine, and technology. They also develop stronger problem-solving abilities that support success in science subjects. My goal is to help students feel confident working with chemistry concepts while building curiosity about the scientific processes that shape the world around us.
