About Fallon
My interest in chemistry grew from a fascination with how small molecular changes create powerful real-world effects. I pursued a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences, where I developed a solid grounding in physical, organic, and analytical chemistry. Over 9 years of teaching, I have supported students in building clarity, accuracy, and confidence across a wide range of chemical topics.
I approach teaching with patience and structure, focusing on helping learners understand underlying principles rather than memorising isolated facts. I adapt explanations based on individual learning styles and emphasise step-by-step reasoning to strengthen problem-solving ability. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely and reflect on their understanding without fear of making mistakes.
Outside the classroom, I remain engaged with chemistry through reading, applied problem exploration, and staying current with educational methods. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I see learners transform uncertainty into confidence. Helping students trust their reasoning and appreciate the elegance of chemical logic is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Chemistry lessons are most effective when students understand how invisible particles create visible change. My teaching approach emphasises building a strong conceptual picture of atoms, molecules, and reactions before moving into calculations and formulae. I help learners see chemistry as a logical system governed by patterns, balance, and energy flow. Topics such as stoichiometry, bonding, reaction types, and solution behaviour are introduced with clarity and reinforced through guided reasoning rather than memorisation.
As students advance, lessons incorporate deeper analysis of reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and kinetics. I break down complex problems into structured steps and explain how each decision influences the final outcome. Practice questions are carefully chosen to strengthen confidence and accuracy, while discussion encourages learners to explain their reasoning clearly. This method supports steady improvement and reduces anxiety around numerical chemistry.
Chemistry learning also builds discipline, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Students begin to approach problems methodically and trust their understanding of chemical logic. Over time, many learners develop a sense of curiosity about how chemistry explains everyday processes. My aim is to help students feel capable, precise, and confident when working with chemical systems and problem-solving challenges.
