About Charlotte
My journey in Chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and change, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Chemical Sciences. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students at different levels, guiding them to understand chemistry concepts intuitively and apply them practically. My approach emphasises clarity, patience, and step-by-step instruction to make complex topics accessible.
I prioritise creating a nurturing learning space where learners feel comfortable exploring ideas, asking questions, and practising problem-solving. Lessons are enriched with visual aids, real-life examples, experiments, and hands-on activities to ensure engagement and comprehension. I aim to instil both understanding and enthusiasm in every student.
Outside of teaching, I remain active in reading scientific research, exploring chemical innovations, and staying updated with educational techniques. Witnessing students develop confidence, curiosity, and analytical skills is deeply rewarding. My ultimate goal is to inspire learners to appreciate the dynamic world of chemistry while cultivating logical reasoning and a passion for lifelong learning.

Chemistry becomes engaging when learners understand how molecules interact and reactions occur in daily life. My lessons cover chemical bonding, reactions, stoichiometry, acids and bases, and basic lab techniques. I focus on connecting abstract ideas to observable phenomena, allowing students to visualise chemical processes and build conceptual clarity. Lessons are structured to balance theory with practical examples and problem-solving, helping students develop confidence and understanding step by step.
I adapt each lesson to the student’s knowledge level. Beginners explore basic atomic structures, the periodic table, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners work on chemical equations, reaction mechanisms, and applied chemistry problems. Advanced students focus on laboratory design, analytical calculations, and exam-oriented problem-solving. Every class includes interactive examples, reasoning guidance, and exercises that reinforce learning and ensure steady progress.
Chemistry lessons not only teach scientific facts but also nurture logical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Students learn to analyse reactions, predict outcomes, and apply principles to real-world situations. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where learners gain understanding, confidence, and enthusiasm for exploring the molecular world around them.
