About Alivia Jade
Over the years, I have had a very high success rate with improving students scores and overall knowledge in chemistry. Specifically, general chemistry. There’s nothing I love more than when a seemingly difficult chemistry topic finally clicks with a student. I try to make things as entertaining as possible while still allowing you to get the whole concept.
Our generation tends to be more visual learners rather than auditory. For that reason, I like to include a lot of visual examples of certain concepts. I’ve gotten many reviews from my students in the past, and it seems to help them a lot!

I am a recent graduate of TAMU with an MS in Chemistry and B.S. in chemistry from University of TN. I have 6 years experience as a chemistry tutor and 2 years experience co-teaching chemistry at a college level for both lab and lecture (in person and virtually).
Due to the fact, I was recently a student, I can closely relate to the pressure of school. I have developed study methods that work for both me and a lot of the students I have taught/tutored in the past. I love personalized tutoring. So I will develop a study plan, that best suits you individually! I am extremely passionate about chemistry, and I love finding ways to make this intimidating topic, something manageable and enjoyable for students!

Details
I do both individual and group sessions! My rate is
$40 per hour for individual sessions. $50 per hour for a small group of two ($25 per person). And $60 per hour for a small group of three ($20 per person).
