Passionate Chemistry Tutor | MRes in Chemistry | Helping You Succeed! Hi, I'm Athira, an MRes graduate in Chemistry, currently based in York. With a strong academic background in organic chemistry, hydrogels, and materials science, I’m passionate about helping students understand and appreciate chemistry. I believe that teaching is the best way to deepen my own knowledge, and I’m excited to share my expertise while helping students build confidence in chemistry. I also believe that once you love the subject, it will start to love you back. About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring I believe in making chemistry engaging and easy to understand by using real-life examples, visual aids, and interactive discussions. My teaching method is tailored to each student's learning style, ensuring that concepts are clear, practical, and retainable. Lesson Structure Typical Lesson Length: 1 hour (can be adjusted based on student needs) Teaching Style: Breaking down complex topics into simpler, digestible concepts Using visual aids, problem-solving exercises, and discussions Encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. My Qualifications I hold an M.Res in Chemistry and have a strong background in organic chemistry, hydrogels, and materials science. Though this is my first experience as a tutor, my research and academic background have equipped me with deep subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts effectively. Who Can Benefit?
