About Ada
I have spent seven years helping more than 240 students navigate chemistry. My background includes a master's in inorganic chemistry and environmental analysis laboratory experience. This practical foundation enriches teaching with real-world examples. I have worked across secondary and early undergraduate levels. My students appreciate my methodical approach. I design custom worksheets targeting misconceptions. Outside of tutoring, I volunteer with environmental education and enjoy hiking. I believe chemistry is essential for environmental understanding.

My chemistry teaching is characterized by clarity and emphasis on the periodic table as an organizing framework. I teach inorganic chemistry through periodic trends, teaching students to predict properties. For transition metal chemistry, I use colorimetry and catalysis case studies. Environmental chemistry is taught through air, water, and soil data and green chemistry. I emphasize quantitative aspects, teaching mole calculations and redox balancing. Laboratory skills are integrated through qualitative analysis. I teach clear, methodical report writing. For exam preparation, I focus on precise terminology and logical calculations. My sessions are highly structured with clear objectives.
