About Cleo
As a passionate chess coach with 14 years of experience, I have immersed myself in the intricacies of the game from an early age. Starting as a player, my fascination with chess strategy and tactics grew into a commitment to teach and inspire others. Beyond coaching, chess is not just a hobby but a way of life, where every game is a journey of strategic exploration and mental agility.
My approach to teaching revolves around a deep understanding of openings, tactics, and endgames. Each lesson is meticulously crafted to cater to the individual strengths and challenges of my students, regardless of age or skill level. Whether guiding beginners through the fundamental principles or fine-tuning advanced players' strategies, I aim to foster a comprehensive grasp of chess that transcends mere moves and captures the essence of strategic thinking.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy delving into chess literature and analyzing historical matches to glean insights that inform my teaching. This continual exploration allows me to stay at the forefront of chess theory and tactics, ensuring my students receive the most relevant and effective guidance.
