About Sambarta

I am Sambarta Banerjee, a professional chess player and coach from Kolkata, India. My current FIDE ELO is 2057. I have been playing chess for the past 14 years and teaching for the last 5 years. I have won several state and All India tournaments. I believe in a fun and interactive way of learning, so my classes are never boring. My training structure depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Regular solving of tactics to improve pattern recognition and theoretical endgame. I don't just teach chess, I make my students think for themselves.

About the lesson

My approach to chess is very practical. I try to teach my students through solving exercise, studying classic games and playing practice games after every lessons. As I myself have worked with some highly regarded coaches I have engulfed their training methods and structured one of my own.
