About Violet
As a Chess Grandmaster with a rich background spanning over three decades of competitive play and more than three years of dedicated coaching experience, chess is not just a game for me but a profound passion and lifelong journey. My fascination with chess began at a young age, driven by the intellectual challenges, strategic depth, and endless possibilities it offers.
Throughout my competitive career, I have participated in numerous national and international tournaments, achieving mastery in various aspects of chess strategy including openings, tactics, positional play, and endgames. These experiences have not only sharpened my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the complexities and nuances of the game.
Transitioning into coaching has been a natural evolution for me, fueled by a desire to share my knowledge and insights with aspiring chess players of all ages and skill levels. My coaching philosophy revolves around nurturing a holistic understanding of chess principles while fostering critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities in my students.
In my coaching practice, I emphasize a personalized approach tailored to the individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles of each student. Whether guiding beginners through the basics or mentoring advanced players in advanced strategies, I prioritize creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can thrive and grow.
Beyond teaching chess techniques, I strive to instill a passion for lifelong learning and a resilient mindset in my students. I aim to inspire them to not only excel in chess but also apply the strategic thinking and analytical skills gained from the game to succeed in various endeavors. Ultimately, my goal is to empower my students to discover their potential, develop their unique playing style, and find joy and fulfillment in the beautiful game of chess.

In my chess lessons, I aim to create a stimulating and supportive environment where students can develop not only their chess skills but also their critical thinking abilities and strategic mindset. With over three years of experience as a seasoned Chess Grandmaster, I bring a deep understanding of the game's intricacies and a passion for teaching to every session.
Each lesson is structured to cater to the individual needs and goals of the student. Whether you're a beginner looking to grasp the fundamentals or an advanced player striving to refine specific strategies, I tailor the curriculum accordingly. We start by focusing on foundational concepts such as piece movement, basic tactics, and strategic principles, gradually progressing to more advanced topics like positional understanding, endgame techniques, and psychological aspects of the game.
I believe in a hands-on approach to learning chess, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application. Lessons include analyzing classic games, solving tactical puzzles, and engaging in simulated game scenarios to reinforce learning and improve decision-making skills. Through these activities, students not only enhance their chess proficiency but also develop resilience, patience, and adaptability — skills that are valuable both on and off the chessboard.
Throughout our sessions, I provide constructive feedback and encouragement to foster continuous improvement and confidence in my students. I encourage them to ask questions, experiment with different strategies, and learn from their mistakes, creating a growth-oriented mindset. My ultimate goal is to inspire a lifelong love for chess and equip my students with the skills and mindset to navigate challenges strategically and creatively in all aspects of their lives.
