About Penny

In the bustling world of finance, I'm knee-deep in numbers and code as a data engineer by day. But beyond the spreadsheets and algorithms, you'll often find me in the gym or diving into the pool for a refreshing swim. Staying active keeps me sharp and ready to tackle any challenge that comes my way!

One of my deepest passions lies in languages and cultures. There's something truly fulfilling about helping others unlock the beauty of Mandarin. Whether it's mastering tones or diving into Chinese characters, I find joy in sharing my knowledge and guiding students toward their language goals.

But let's not make this all about me! I'm eager to learn about you. Whether you're a language enthusiast, a fitness fanatic, or simply seeking a connection, don't hesitate to reach out. Let's connect, swap stories, and who knows, maybe even become friends along the way!

About the lesson

Welcome to personalized tutoring designed just for you! I believe in tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals. Our journey starts with our first class, where we'll take the time to get to know each other. Understanding your background, learning preferences, and aspirations is crucial for creating an effective learning plan.

So the first lesson is free!

Each lesson will be structured around 40 minutes of focused teaching, during which I'll provide clear explanations, engaging examples, and interactive activities to deepen your understanding. Additionally, I'll assign homework to reinforce concepts and ensure steady progress between sessions.

My tutoring is suitable for learners of all levels who are eager to master the Chinese language. Whether you're taking your first steps in Mandarin or striving for fluency, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
