About Suhayl
I studied civil engineering and now work as a project manager in tech, but teaching has always been close to my heart. My parents both work in education, so I grew up seeing how much a good teacher can change things for a student.
I started by tutoring my younger brother, and seeing him finally understand topics he used to struggle with is what made me want to do more of it.
Physics was always my favourite subject, and I use it in real life through engineering. I want to help students feel confident with it, not scared of it.

My lessons are relaxed but focused. In the first lesson I find out which topics you find hard and what exam board you're on, then we build a plan around that.
I explain physics using real examples, like how forces work in bridges and buildings, so it makes sense instead of just memorising formulae. We practise lots of exam questions together, and I show you how to pick up marks on the longer answers and calculations.
I'm patient and happy to go over things as many times as needed. No question is a silly question.
Lessons can be online or in person around Epsom. After each lesson I can give a short update to parents on what we covered and what to practise next.
