About Jenna

Hello and welcome to your next learning experience! I'm Jenna and I have many years of tutoring in different fields. I've taught violin, elementary education, and English - to students of all levels and ages! I've received compliments when teaching over Discord (in a very large English-Spanish learning server), that I take a lot of care to help students and students like how I am able to explain concepts. I truly enjoy helping others to achieve their language goals. Random facts about me: I love dance and gardening. I work in the IT field! ¡Hola y bienvenidos a su próxima experiencia de aprendizaje! About the lesson

- My lessons can be adapted for anyone! They are meant for native Spanish speakers or English heritage speakers who grew up speaking Spanish, and are looking to reduce their native accent. - When I teach I always have a positive attitude and I like to cheer on students for any and all achievements! - You can expect a typical lesson plan to include: An icebreaker or activity in English to warm up your brain, reading a paragraph of text aloud, then working on specific words, sounds, and sentence rhythms together pulled from what you read. I can provide corrections and suggestions in Spanish and English to help tie together concepts. - I am a native English speaker from New York, United States, and I've been learning Spanish for many years! - You will feel improvement after every session! ¡Mis lecciones pueden ser adaptadas para cualquiera! Están dirigidas a hablantes nativos de español o hablantes de herencia inglesa que crecieron hablando español y buscan reducir su acento nativo. Cuando enseño, siempre tengo una actitud positiva y me gusta animar a los estudiantes por todos y cada uno de sus logros. Puedes esperar que un plan de lección típico incluya: Un rompehielos o actividad en inglés para calentar tu cerebro, leer un párrafo de texto en voz alta, luego trabajar juntos en palabras, sonidos y ritmos de oraciones específicos extraídos de lo que leíste.
