About Brad
I have taught Latin at two classical schools in Ontario. My educational background is in biblical studies (Bachelor) and theology (Master), which is where I first studied Greek and Hebrew. I added Latin during the pandemic as a way to use my time at home productively. I quickly fell in love with the language, and that love has grown stronger with time and experience. I believe that learning classical languages helps us to understand our roots and gives us access to the wisdom of the past. They can also be a springboard to learning a host of modern languages (e.g. French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian).

For the past three years I have taught Latin to students aged 8-18. I make learning ancient languages fun and rewarding. My goal is to get you reading simple sentences as soon as possible. I blend the "natural method" (immersion) with a grammatical approach for maximum comprehension.
My lessons are for students in classical education (elementary or high school), university students who are beginning their studies, or working and retired adults who want to do something intellectually stimulating and rewarding.
