About Itziar

Hi there! My name is Itziar, I come from Pamplona and I am 28 years old.

I am enthusiastic about education's world and specially about music education, that is why I decided to study a Primaruy School Teacher training degree specialized in Music.

Simultaneously, I studied the specialty of Guitar at Pablo Sarasate's Conservatory of Music, which I finished 2 years ago.

I am currently studying my third year of Music Pedagogy at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, as part of the Erasmus + exchange program offered by the Higher Conservatory of Music of Navarra.

I have 3 years of experience as a teacher. I have worked as guitar teacher in different schools in Navarra. Lessons were handed both individually and in groups. In adition, I have combined these jobs with private lessons too.

On the other hand, I have also worked as a Primary school teacher for two school years as part of the english immersion programme. Regarding my english knowledge I could say that I am holding a C1 English qualification, and I have already had previous work experience in the UK, where I worked for six months in different nurseries.

Regarding the way I deliver my lessons, I could say that my approach of education is closely linked to the enjoyment of learning. In this way, learning guitar has a lot to do with the choice of repertoire, which I try to select the best one, that suits the student's personality as the main goal is to enjoy as much as possible the process of learning.

About the lesson

I am offering online guitar lessons.

I am a classical guitar teacher and I have 3 years of experience delivering lessons to children between 7 and 16 years old in different schools in Navarra and music academies, as well as particular level.

I am currently studying my third year of Music Pedagogy at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, as part of the Erasmus + exchange programme offered by the Higher Conservatory of Music of Navarra.

The classes will focus on the learning interests of each student, choosing the appropriate repertoire that best suits the tastes of each one, since the objective is to enjoy while learning to achieve the greatest possible motivation.

I highly recommend starting with 30-minute classes, since it is enough to establish the contents the best way.
