"You likely seek a thoughtful partner for your musical evolution who understands the rigor required to master complex piano literature. After spending 13 years as a performing classical musician, my transition to teaching in my home studio in Chicago allows me to share the discipline gained from my Postgraduate Diploma in Chamber Music from the Curtis Institute of Music.
My 13 years of experience influence how I approach classical repertoire, accompaniment skills, and chord voicing. Attention to posture and hand position remains vital for technical longevity and ease.
Sight reading, rhythm, and timing form the bedrock of my instruction. I integrate dynamics and expression into every phrase to ensure a nuanced sound. Working professionals and advanced learners find that my exacting nature aligns with their personal goals. It is deeply rewarding to witness the precise moment a student connects their physical movement to the emotional intent of a piece."
