About Olivia
I am a Classical Studies student at university, currently taking a year out of my studies. I have experience tutoring and being tutored. I loved engaging with my tutor when I was at school and I was able to take that experience and apply it myself when I was tutoring a student for GCSE English Literature and Language. I have so much fun personalising lessons and trying to get the most out of tutoring sessions. I am passionate about learning and I love my subjects, I'd love to share that with other students too! :)

I initially speak with the student and their parents, about which areas of the subject are going well, and which topics we think could use some more attention. It is also important to discuss different learning techniques, and taking the time to figure out the most effective way to teach... of course we can work on this over time and always make changes! I will then take that and figure out a plan based on the course syllabus, working to build knowledge and skills, to help pass the exams by developing a greater understanding of the subject. I try to incorporate the student's interests and hobbies into the lessons, to make them more fun and engaging.
