"Pacing is everything. We prioritise deliberate, incremental progress in every session. You will find that warm up exercises serve as the backbone for everything from microphone technique to complex performance confidence.
I assign homework vocal drills after every session to ensure that you retain the technical work we cover. This provides a clear path forward for students who need structure.
We explore breathing control and tone and resonance through a series of exercises tailored to your voice type. Sight singing becomes a practical tool rather than a mystery when we apply my classical vocal background. You will find that these sessions provide the foundation you need to sing with total ease. I look forward to hearing your progress in the weeks ahead."

"I admit that I am somewhat obsessed with the mechanics of the throat and the physics of sound. My 13 years of experience teaching performance-focused students and absolute beginners have taught me that biology is the foundation of art. I have worked with 158 students to bring structure to their practice. Whether you are a hobbyist or a self-taught player, we will focus on VIBRATO CONTROL and PITCH CONTROL to stabilise your sound.
