About Kennedy
I am a classically trained mezzo soprano who resides in London. I received my BMus in vocal performance and drama from The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 2018 and I am currently completing my MMus in vocal performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance where I am a Kathleen Roberts Vocal Scholar. I am passionate about performing and teaching in a variety of genres - including classical, musical theatre and pop.
As a singing teacher and vocal coach, I specialize in classical, musical theatre, and pop training. I aim to help singers of all ages and levels find their unique voice while building healthy vocal technique. As I have found in my own training, solid vocal technique crosses over all genres and creates well-rounded singers and musicians. I also specialize in teaching young, developing voices, and have over two years’ experience educating singers ages 4-11. Over the last two years, I have taught over 35 students in one to one and group lessons, and I have experience teaching beginning to advanced singing lessons and beginning to intermediate piano lessons.

I believe no student is too young or too old to improve their voice. I welcome students of all skills and ages who wish to improve their singing and want to have fun while doing so. My aim is to help every student find their own unique voice while building healthy vocal technique. The technique I teach is based on:
1. Proper breathing and support
2. Proper vocal placement
3. Physiology of the voice (it is easiest to use your voice if you understand how it works)
In addition to learning good technique, I want my students to find joy in singing and their lessons so I am open to students working on music in any genre they like.
