About Rakshana
I am a classically trained vocalist with years of disciplined training in traditional Indian music, complemented by regular performance experience. I have been recognized with a Government of India (ICCR) scholarship for my work in both Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam, reflecting my commitment, consistency, and depth in the arts. I approach teaching with seriousness and passion, valuing structure, precision, and expressive quality in music. I hold myself to high professional standards and bring the same dedication to every student interaction, to build strong, confident musicians rooted in solid fundamentals.

I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring clarity, confidence, and steady progress. As a teacher, my strength lies in simplifying complex concepts and creating a supportive environment that encourages musical sensitivity and consistency. My classes are suited for school students, college-level learners, and adults, especially beginners and intermediate students looking to build a solid foundation in vocal music.
