About George

I am an Actor and Voice Artist with 10 years' experience in the industry, and have been tutoring for the past 12 years. I am currently performing on the West End and have worked for the BBC, Netflix, BFI, Discovery ID, SEGA games, Adidas, The Gate, The Park Theatre, The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Audible and toured across the UK.

About the lesson

DRAMA SCHOOL AUDITION PREP - I approach each student looking for what makes that person unique, embracing this and applying some basic stagecraft, knowledge and etiquette, stripping away any bad habits. This can carry you a long way when it comes to auditions. It is important that we have a mutual trust and honesty while working together on building a performance. I also work behind the scenes sometimes talking directly to schools themselves about their audition process and bringing in other industry professionals to talk to you about drama schools and to offer their guidance. I have taught at a number of degree level schools. LAMDA EXAMS - I approach each student looking for what makes that person unique, embracing this and applying some basic stagecraft, knowledge and etiquette, stripping away any bad habits. This can carry you a long way when it comes to auditions and exams. It is important that we have a mutual trust and honesty while working together on building a performance. I have a 100% pass rate with my past LAMDA students with a 95% achieving Distinctions. GENERAL SESSIONS - I am always open to meeting students who are looking to take either their first steps in the acting world, looking to go professional or to develop certain performance skills to help achieve their goals in other industries. Past students have included doctors to D&D masters! All face to face lessons can take place at home, online or at a rehearsal room in an agreed location.

Arrived on time and ready to work. Oliver was enthusiastic and open to trying new things, providing plenty of feedback as to what was and wasn't working. I can't wait to continue sessions with him.
