About Jit
I have really been looking forward to this chance to pass on my knowledge in Classics onto others and will try my utmost to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. I will always empathize with how students are feeling and as long as they are trying their best, I want to create a relaxed environment for us to work together. However, I will also balance this aspect with honest feedback towards my students. I believe that this will be the best thing for them in order to feel comfortable and achieve their goals.

I want to ensure that I centre my lessons around what the student needs given that each one will have specific strengths and areas they want to improve. I will focus as much as possible on these areas but also devoting time to honing their strengths. I feel the best method will be to go through past papers and questions from textbooks under timed conditions and this is what we will practice. I plan to do 1 hour-90 minute lessons (depending on how long the student requires) for students in middle school and GCSE level. My qualifications are as follows: a 9 in both Latin and Greek GCSE. I also have a D2 for Latin Pre-U and am currently a Classics major at Georgetown University, Washington DC.
